Bad weather has played havoc with fixture lists this weekend with the majority of pitches being declared unplayable
The Under 18 Leinster Youth Cup game SKB 18 Super v Donacarney Celtic was moved from Ward Cross To Richmond Road and resulted in a fine 5-1 SKB win.
Kieran O'Farrell opened the scoring in the fourth minute heading in a corner from the left and he repeated the feat two minutes later powering in a header from a right wing corner but saw it disallowed for a reason known only to the referee, Eddie Repicka soon added a second anyway for a 2-0 lead inside the first six minutes which was soon followed by a third from Mahir Saidj. Gavin Carolan stretched the lead to four by half time.
The second half was disappointing from an SKB point of view when despite plenty of possession and with a strong breeze behind them they failed to add to the scoreline missing several chances until two minutes from time when Stephen Kiely powered home a rocket from 25 yards. Donacarney had pulled a goal back fifteen minutes into the second half but seldom threatened to add to it with the biggest threat to SKB coming from their own tendency to complicate things.
In the only other game played today Knocklyon United again proved to be a bogey team for our 17 Elite side knocking them out of the FAI Under 17 Cup on penalties after a 1-1 draw after extra time at Parnells they had also knocked them out of the Leinster Youth Cup a few weeks ago on penalties as well.

Our 16 Elite played Home Farm in the SFAI Barry Cup in dreadful conditions last Sunday at Shanowen Road and progressed in the next round with a hard fought but well deserved 2-0 win. Gavin Kilkenny scored the first goal before half time direct from a free kick and it was from another of his free kicks that Dylan Byrne swept home the second five minutes from time.
Our 13 NDSL Premier overcame similar bad weather conditions at home to Balbriggan FC at Ward Cross(3) to win 9-2 in the SFAI Troy Cup while at the same venue on pitch 2 our 14 NDSL Premier side having taken the lead early in their SFAI Goodson Cup game against Corduff FC saw the referee abandon the game due to worsening weather conditions after 10 minutes.
-----------------------
We are National title holders at Under 12 where two of our teams were involved - Our 12 DDSL Premier scored a facile home win against Castleknock Celtic but our 12 DDSL A1 lost in extra time 5-3 to Home Farm at the College of Surgeons.
In the Under 13 Troy Cup no referee showed for the 13 DDSL Premier game v Crumlin United at Shanowen Road. Our 13 DDSL Major are through to the next round with a 1-0 win v Shelbourne at Ellenfield.
In the Goodson Cup one goal was enough for Home Farm to knock our 14 DDSL Premier out of the competition,
Shamrock Rovers were no match for our 15 DDSL Elite team in the Evans Cup at Shanowen - goals from Dan Madaghjian, Ciaran Behan, Cameron Ledwidge, Ryan Cassidy (2), Ray O'Sullivan and Dawson Devoy secured a 7-0 passage to the next round.
The first teams Premier A league tie against Baldoyle-Grange United was switched to the AUL Complex where they recorded a 2-0 win.
