Our 1st team bounced back to form against Donnycarny United in their AUL Premier A League game tonight in Parnells as they put last Sunday's poor result against Mountview firmly behind them with a fine performance full of pace and determination for the full ninty minutes and fully deserved the points with an emphatic 3-1 win.
The first goal arrived just on the half hour when Conor Dowler found Nathan West with a clever pass and the number10 lobbed the out rushing goalkeeper perfectly, the score was doubled early in the second half when Stephen Cantwell raced onto a through ball from Ross Harrison and fired in off the post. An opportunity to go three in front went a' begging when Nathan West missed a penalty when Jordan Cromwell was taken down by the 'keeper but the third did eventually arrive when Cromwell scored with a fine header from a corner in the 85th minute. Donnycarny pulled a goal back direct from a corner in injury time but the points were already safe.
Starting 11; Hannon, Reynor, McGrath, McDonnell, Ellis, Pearson, Harrison, Dowler, Cantwell, West, Doyne.
