Spurning numerous gilt edged chances including a penalty kick which struck the post our Premier A team could not pull back a 2 nil defecit which CIE Ranch had built up by virture of an early second half goal in the 3rd round Leinster Junior Cup tie at Shanowen Road this afternoon. The visitors were reduced to ten men 15 minutes into the second half by which time they were 2 up and Stephen Cantwell's goal six minutes from time turned out to be a consolation score.
Our NDSL 14 Premier side travelled to Dromin United in County Louth this morning and had a fine 3-1 win in the SFAI Goodson Cup third round with goals from Gavin Doyle Alex Cetner and Ola Oliwange.
Our NDSL 13 Premier side scored an impressive 2-0 win over Maynooth Town in the 3rd round of the SFAI Troy Cup at Shanowen Road this morning. In command throughout they led at half time with goals from Ethan Delaney and James Foy and only the crossbar and some excellent saves from the Maynooth Town goalkeeper stopped that scoreline being extended in the second half.
A 35th minute equaliser from James McManus gave our Under 10A Sunday a deserved draw away to Belvedere FC this morning in a tight game of few clear cut chances to either side, Belvedere had just taken the lead minutes before James's shot took a slight deflection and ended up in the net.
In the only other SKB game played this weekend our 10C Sunday scored an impressive 7-0 away win at St Pauls Artane.
