We are delighted to announce that Johnny Carroll has agreed to take up the position of first team manager of our Leinster League squad with immediate effect.
Johnny needs no introduction to SKB players, members or supporters as he playered all his schoolboy football at the club and then had a long and successful career as a first team player while gaining over 30 junior international caps.
For the past few sesaons he has been part of the first team management group since our switch from the AUL to the LSL.
Johnny will be joined in the management group by Dave Gallagher, Andy McKenna and Keith McDermott who are all vastly experienced at this level and we wish them all the very best for the season ahead.
We are also delighted to announce that the Senior Saturday team will be in the care of a new management duo Keith Mc Connell and Matt Gannon two men who also need no introduction to SKB members as they both have long playing careers with the club and we wish them the best of luck in their new role.
We would also like to thank outgoing manager Vinny McCarthy for his work with the squad and for his input over the past year and wish him the best of luck in his future coaching and management career.
