With Liverpool seeking an unpreceedented quadruple of trophies this season our under 12's and 14's Inter teams are in the hunt for three trophies each over the next fortnight while our 13 Inter seek a league and Liam Brady Cup double.
Daniel Holton was in sensational goal poaching mood at Shanowen Road this morning scoring all of our under 12 Inter teams' four goals in the second half of their semi-final DDSL Kavanagh win over Belvedere FC.
They are top of their league and next on their list is the final of the DDSL Kavanagh Cup next Saturday in the AUL Complex followed the following week by the SFAI Shetchers Norton Cup final away to Pike Rovers in Limerick.
Our under 14 Inter are in a similar position they are top of their league and next on their list is the final of the DDSL Thunder Cup next Saturday against Corduff FC in the AUL Complex followed the following week by the SFAI Shetchers Goodson Cup final against Shamrock Rovers also in the AUL Complex .
The 13 inter are challenging near the top of their league and meet close rivals Belvedere FC final of the DDSK Liam Brady Cup next Saturday in the AUL Complex.
Joining that trio in DDSL Cup finals are our under 11A1 Sunday side who defeated St Mochtas A in the semi-final of the DDSL Fitzgerald Cup on penalties after a 3-3 draw in Ellenfield.
Our 11 A Saturday bowed out at the semi-final stage of the DDSL Condren Cup this morning going down 3-1 to Shamrock Rovers at Roadstone despite being the better side for long periods of the game and paying the price for not being more clinical in front of goal.
