In one of the best games seen at Shanowen Road in a long time SKB-BOHS advanced to the semi-final of the FAI Under 15 National League with a 4-3 win over Derry City.
Credit to both teams for serving a thrilling game that ebbed and flowed throughout with the home side gaining revenge for a 4-1 beating last month in the National Cup.
Ryan Markey Colgan opened the scoring from a penalty after 15 minutes and the side dominated proceedings through much of the first half but Derry did equalise following a corner kick before half time.
The game turned one way and then the other in a five minute spell immediatly after half time - first Sean McCarthy scored direct from a free kick one minute into the half and within three further minutes Derry had equalised and taked the lead with two goals from Trent Kane Doherty.
Danny McGrath equalised with with 15 minutes remaining and just when it looked like the games was heading for extra time and possibly penalties Nickson Okosun cut into the penalty from the left side and put a right footed thunderbolt into the top right hand corner with the clock already in injury time.
A brilliant finish to a great game.
