This weekend saw the start of the EA Sports Underage League of Ireland season for our Under 14's and 15's.
The 14's were first into action yesterday at United Park in Drogheda and scored a resounding 7-1 win with goals from Nathan Burns (2) Andy Parishev (2) Mo Harris, Hugh O'Donnell and James Bailey.
The 15's were very impressive when they played Drogheda United this morning at Shanowen Road. Three up at half-time they added another five in the second half with Ben Sullivan (2), Ryan Markey Colgan, Aaron Coyle, Nathan Harford, Mark Tarzan Isong, Nickson Okoson and Leon Keogh all on the scoresheet.
The 17's kicked off their season with a fine 4-0 win over Cork City at St Aidans last week and recorded a similar scoreline this week when they beat Carlow-Kilkenny 4-0 at Derdimus Park.
The 19's got last weeks defeat away to Cork City out of their system with a fine 6-1 home win over Waterford FC in St Aidans.
