DDSL GUIDELINES FOR FRIENDLY GAMES
Playing of Friendlies from 7th June - DDSL Clubs & Referees Guide.
Approvals Procedure.
To ALL DDSL Club Secretaries,
To ensure a safe and structured return to play in adherence to current Government & HSE guidelines, clubs are required to observe the following guidelines.
Please note one game per week (7 day period) per team.
No tournaments are permitted during the Month of June.
Approval for games.
• Club Secretaries only should register game(s) for approval by email at friendliesddsl@gmail.com
Approval will issue by auto return.
League approval for friendly games is a mandatory requirement.
• Approval is required for ALL games U10-U18 (including in house games).
• Requests should contain
Home/Away teams,
Date of Game,
Name of Referee.
• Clubs are encouraged where possible to provide referees for U10-U11 games.
Match Cards
• Match cards (available for download on League website) must be completed by both teams and signed by club representatives and referee.
• Match cards must be returned to the League Secretary by the referee as is normal custom & practice.
These are mandatory requirements.
This information will be notified to all referees on the DDSL panel.
Please Note:
Clubs who participate in Friendly Games or tournaments without obtaining the necessary approval, or failing to ensure that the necessary approval has been obtained, are likely to face disciplinary measures under SFAI/DDSL Rules.
Your co-operation in these matters is essential to ensure a smooth return to play and protect all our clubs in the event of any Insurance or Disciplinary matters which may arise.
