St Kevins Boys Club are delighted to announce that Stephen Costello has been offered and has accepted the role of SKB head coach to replace Alan Caffrey who has left the Club to take on the role of Technical Director at Shelbourne FC. Stephen - a UEFA A licenced coach - has been associated with SKB since his schoolboy days, where he was a part of a very successful side winning league and cup honours before receiving a sports scholarship to UCD for whom he subsequently played for in the League of Ireland before returning to SKB to play for our Senior team for many seasons. He started his coaching career at Tolka Rovers before coming back to SKBs senior section as assistant manager to Martin Doyle before assuming the managers role himself five years ago and overseeing the clubs transition from the AUL to the LSL with three promotions and cups success achieved during his tenure. Stephen will continue to build on the foundation laid by Alan Caffrey and maintain the standards and philosophy of St Kevins Boys ensuring that they remain the foremost Schoolboy Club in the country and also maintaining and strengthening the club's link with Bohemian FC. We wish Stephen the very best of luck in his appointment and assure him of the support, encouragement and respect of all associated with the Club.
