It had been hoped to organise trials for our Airtricity underage teams in early January but yesterday the Football Association of Ireland  updated their plans based on the latest guidelines from Government around the COVID-19 pandemic.

They are now advising that the only football permitted from today (Dec 23rd) until further guidance from Government is;

SSE Airtricity League and Women’s National League football at adult level only and non-contact training in pods of 15 for all other footballers, but only within their county of residence.

All other football activity – including assessments and trials – is prohibited until further notice.
