Under 17 Euro Qualifier
SKB had five current or former representatives involved in Tuesdays Euro Under 17 Championship qualifier against Andorra at Turners Cross which resulted in a 6-0 win.
Gavin O'Brien captained the side which also included Colin Conroy, Evan Ferguson and Rob Mahon who are currently part of Jimmy Mowlds SKB-BOHS Under 17 Airtricity league squad while the fifth ex SKB player was Omatayo Adoramola now of Crystal Palace but who player from Under 8 to Under 11 at SKB under the management of Mark Keenan.
Robert Mahon’s early opener was followed by an own goal and two goals from Evan Ferguson as Ireland raced to a 4-0 half-time lead.
Goals in the second half from Colin Conroy and substitute Calum Kavanagh completed the scoring as Colin O’Brien side dominated proceedings.
It now means that a win over Montenegro on Friday will see Ireland advance to the Elite Round of qualification.
