SENIORS ADVANCE IN FAI INTERMEDIATE & JUNIOR CUPS
The club's first venture into the FAI Intermediate Cup ended with a resounding 3-1 win away tonight against Inchicore Athletic - who operate a division above SKB in the LSL -.at Bernard Curtis Park.
Hero of the hour was the irrepressible Stephen Cantwell who bagged himself a hat-trick to ensure that SKB are in the draw for the third round next week.
The senior Saturday team rounded off a great weekend of senior cup results with a 1-0 win in the third round of the FAI Junior Cup against South William Street Celtic. Pearse Hughes a former schoolboy team mate of Jack Byrne at SKB scored the winner with a stunning drive into the top corner.
