Two second half goals from Evan Ferguson - the first from the penalty spot and the second a fine header from a Len O'Sullivan cross following fine work down the left from Robbie Mahon brings SKB/BOHS Under 17's to within one game of completing a league and cup double following their 2-0 win this afternoon in their league semi-final against Shelbourne at St Aidans.
St Patricks Athletic will provide the opposition in the final to be played on Monday October 28th at a venue to be decided.
Last Sunday afternoon the first piece of silverware was won under the SKB-BOHS banner when the Under 17's won the Mark Farren Cup defeating Kerry FC 5-1 in the final played at Mount Hawk Park in Tralee.
Robbie Mahon openened the scoring after 20 minutes but Kerry pulled it back to leave the sides level at the break.
Thomas Considine restored the lead on 48 minutes which was added to by Evan Ferguson in the 53rd and 63rd minute before Precious Omotosho brought the scoring to a close in the 85th minute.
