Last weekends fixture list procuced some good and not so good results in various cup ties.
For the second week in succession our premier youths team were on the road in an important cup tie. Following last weeks great win in the FAI U17 Cup semi final 3-2 away to Naas AFC they were away to North End from Wexford in the Leinster Youths Cup quarter final where they came from 2 goals down to win 3-2 in an absorbing cup tie with goals from Dean Paget (2) and Cian Woodlock.
Three goals from Ivan Gramminschi, Andy Paraschiv and Aaron Donnelly with a bullet header (pictured) saw our Under 12's secure a final spot in the SFAI Sketchers Norton Cup by virtue of a 3-1 win over Mervue United who proved dogged opponents and they will be hoping to take a step further in their quest to retain the National title in the final against Shamrock Rovers or Aisling Anacotty
A physically stronger Hanover Harps side edged out our under 14 premier side in the SFAI Sketchers Evans Under 15 Cup winning 3-1 at Green Lane yesterday. Jamie Murphy was the SKB scorer from the penalty spot.
