SKB were involved in two more important Cup finals this evening as both our 11A and 12 Premier sides were in action in Abbotstown in the DDSL Condren and Kavanagh Cup finals respectively.
The 12's who are the current SFAI All Ireland championes took on league leaders Shamrock Rovers and were the much better side in the first half dominating possession but never turning that advantage into scores or indeed clear cut chances. In the second half a far more clinical Rovers side converted two chances and despite a late SKB goal from a free kick the cup went southside
The 11's who had a great run in the SFAI Under 12 Cup reachimg the semi-final played St Josephs Boys and had things all their own way from the start. Chris Conlon opened the scoring after five minutes and they should have been a couple more ahead before Taylor McCarthy scored the second with a fine strike from distance to leave it 2-0 at halftime.
Aaron Donnelly and Chris Conlon with his second added goals in the second half for a convincing 4-0 win.
