Following a hectic weekend of Academy Cup action Shanowen Road opened its gates again today for an Under 15 Schoolboy International game at 1pm between Ireland and the Czech Republic.
Jason Donohue has named five SKB / BOHS players (pictured) in his Republic of Ireland Under-15 squad that faced the Czech Republic in two international friendly matches this week.
The first game with the Czech’s at the FAI National Training Centre in Abbotstown yesterday ended in a 2-2 draw with Sami Clarke and Oran Crowe the scorers.
A goal in the second minute of injury time scored by Oran Crowe was enough to give Irelands Under 15's a win in the second game against the Czech Republic today at Shanowen Road. Having gone ahead with a header from a corner by Oisin Hand they were pulled back to level terms with ten minutes to go but Crowe came up with winner from close range at the death.
