Our Under 12 Premier team were in Spain where they took part in the Ciudad de Burrianna tournament at the weekend.
Atletico Madrid, Athletico Bilbao and Villareal were the the initial group of 4 along with SKB in the 16 team tournament which attracted all the top Spanish clubs along with ourselves and FC Genk from Belguim.
Going to tournaments such as this and others that our premier teams undertake throughout the year is not about results its to expose our players to a level of footbal higher than which they experience at home and the standard of this type of competition will only serve to improve our players and coaches.
Its back to business at home when they face Middleton FC next weekend in the SFAI Sketchers/Norton Cup quarter final where they will hope to join our Under 11's who have already reached the last four.
