It's great to see long serving SKB Under 18 player John Barry finally gain international recognition when he was named in the Republic of Ireland Under 18 International squad by manager Jim Crawford along with team mate Lee McKevitt and former SKB now Bohemians midfielder Luke Nolan for two games this week in Waterford against Wales in which Wales got the better of the home side with the first game ending 0-0 and the visitors winningh the second game 2-0.
Also it was good to see former SKB players involved in both the Under 19 and the Under 17 Republic of Ireland squads last week.
The 19's who faced Romania in two games in La Manga Spain featured Dara O'Shea - who was captain of the side along with goalkeeper Brian Maher and defender Luke Heeney.
Goalkeepers Kian Clarke and Sean Bohan along defender Ray O'Sullivan were on duty in Galway for the Under 17's in two games against Turkey.
