Having seen off the challenge of teams from three countries- Belguim (KRC Genk 3-0) France (Olympique Marseille 1-1) in group games and Spain (Deportivo La Coruna 2-0) in the semifinal our Under 13 Premier team became the third SKB team to reach the final of the Academy Cup in four years.
Tomorrow at 1-30pm they face the holders FC Barcelona and if tomorrow's game is half as exciting as last years final in which Barcelona won in a sudden death penalty shootout after having what looked like a 3-1 winning lead wiped out with second half goals goals from Eoghan Heavey and Jamie Egan then tomorrow's crowd will certainly get value for their money.
They hope to become the first SKB team to lift the trophy after defeats in 2014 0-3 v Ajax and 2016 v FC Barcelona.
The proceedings get under way at 10am when KRC Genk play West Bromwich Albion- whose 1-1 draw today against Barcelona was one of the games of the tournament so far.
2015 champions Deportivo La Coruna play Olympique Marseille in the 3/4th place play off at 11-30.
Spectators are advised to arrive early and to park in the local car parks at Omni Park and Swords Road Church as parking will be severely restricted around the ground.
Enter fee is €5 per adult and € for children.
